I love to have icons. I'm just used to it.

100x100. User uploads them either from a url or their own files. No pre-fab. I think the general number of icons to start out with is like 3-5, and then later down the line, when we pay for extra services, you can buy more.

Is that doable?

Everything is do-able with the time and ability. What do you do with these icons? What are they icons for?

How to explain icons... basically they are avatars that can be loaded with each journal entry. They are basically just for fun... kind of like moods, but are little works of art in and of themselves.

All of my recent avatars are actually from my LJ icon collection

When creating a post - see the upload options. You can upload to a file, upload and attach it to a post or to a page, you can re-use them later, etc etc etc.

Ok, it looks kinda cool.

Took me forever to figure out how to get it to show up in the post though. Not too user-friendly for "normal" people.

After you upload it you can click send to post?

I can imagine that using it a second time might be a pain in the arse though.

using it a second time is just about the same as the first time., but instead of selecting it to upload, you click the tab next to "Upload" that says "Browse All" and then select whatever picture you want. After that, its just like if you were uploading it for the first time...
