Ah, nope. I'm thinking of "Come on and Dance."

I've actually never heard the other one. Until just now.

It is like a goat roping song. I think I have the title right but it could be just Dance or it could be something else entirely. It is on their greatest hits album if I recall but, I looked, I can't find the CD anywhere.

No, you are right. There is Dance, Dance, Dance and Come on and Dance. Two totally different songs. The first is very country sounding.

Come on and Dance... Come on and let's make some romance. 'Cause the night is falling and the music's calling?

That song being the other one?

No? Maybe? I really don't know. Unfortunately it may not have been a musician but it might have been a producer or, even, an agent. I really do not recall but it wasn't that long ago that it was on one of the late night radio programs and they mentioned his work with the Steve Miller Band. *sighs* It might have just been studio recordings...

I love music. Cheesy I can't help it. I think that if one wants to appreciate the music they must understand the music and one of the best ways to understand the music is to understand the people who created it.

I would very much agree with that on all counts (I <3 music too). First thing I do when I buy a disc is bury myself in the liner notes.

I'm the same way about artists and art too (visual).
