Tags on Forum

Does using the Tag feature on the forum enhance your visibility on search engines?

I don't really know to be honest. I would think that they would increase the ease of people finding content though I am not sure that they will increase your ranking. (If that makes sense.) In other words I suspect there is a better chance of a visitor getting to the right page with the tags in place. That and they're pretty neat.
