crystal reportsWikiThis seems to actually have two official and interesting links at the bottom of the page. The forum link doesn't look too bad - they have a good number of users and they seem to be "fairly" active though they don't appear nearly as active as many of the larger forums are. This might be a good resource for you and, depending, if you are still under support contract with the company you might be able to take advantage of that.
When you did accept this job, did they leave you with any asset management tools that had already been pre-configured? That way you could know what licenses you have, what installs you have licenses for and have used, and stuff like what support contracts are still in place and what the value of those contracts are?
I apologize for my tardiness in responding. I've been very busy at work and haven't really had time to get back in here. That being said, I really appreciate your help here. The Crystal Reports forum seems to be just what I'm looking for.
I don't have a lot of resources to work with here. We have a copy of a "Intro to Crystal Reports 7"-type book (we're currently using Crystal Reports 9), but I have since found some more up-to-date books in the library (one of the advantages of working for a university.) As far as support goes, I'm pretty much it. The guy who was in this job before me developed the Crystal Reports that are currently in use, so it falls to me to modify them when they need to be modified.
But again, I thank you for your help.
