I'm not sure how I missed that as a section. Then again, it isn't like we get a great a bunch of hardware questions or comments.

Anyhow, I was looking for my new laptop... (I'm a hardware addict.)

Thoughts?

I know I can likely do better for the same amount of money, but that's kinda nifty and still not a bad price.

Well, I'm no hardware expert, but... it's kinda sexy.

I mean... it's a Ferrari!

I'd say for the money, it's got all the capability you'd need in a laptop.

I like it. That's my opinion.

Of course I can but it's going to last 6 months before I replace it and then sit idle in a closet so I might as well have one with the Ferrari logo and - frankly - it's damned sexy too. Wink

I hope you were being fecitious. Because the laptop is. Of course I know a Ferrari car isn't 2.3k.

*sighs*

I replace everything on the three month schedule so that it is actually a 6 month schedule. This month was a new PC, in February it will be a new laptop, etc... I like leading edge - not bleeding edge. (More so in laptops - getting ACPI and drivers for bleeding edge hardware can be a pain which was a hard lesson learned and once learned not soon forgotten.)

I looked and I can't find much better for the money actually. By the time I customize another to meet similar specs I am at about the same price. I was thinking I'd get a convertable but, well, I can't seem to find one that really meets my needs.

LOL!

If I could afford it, I'd update about once a year. I'm finding that I need both a PC *and* a laptop to really do what I want to.

My laptop is only 1.5 yrs old, and already the smartchip technology is so far advanced that none of the new chips from digital cameras will fit into it!

*sighs*

I love this thing though. I'll probably run it into the ground like I do my cars.

My next laptop will be that Ferrari. Grin

Of course I'm being fecitious (And Firefox's spell check marks the word misspelled. Oh well.)
Ill stick with spartan laptops in my own opinions. Since I can get them cheaper because the shop where I work sells them. =]
