You will hear advocates of Firefox spout rhetoric.

You will see IE fanboys split hairs to ensure that they can say that it isn't IE's fault.

One thing you won't hear most of the time? A peep from the folks who wisely use Opera.

Not Safari, not IE, not Firefox, not OffByOne, not Netscape, not Maxthon, not any...

You will not find a browser that is, in and of itself, more adept at rendering markup properly. You will not find one with fewer exploits and that large a footprint across the globe. You will not find one that is simpler and easier to configure because, really, they all do the same things.

See a feature in a browser you like? Chances are it came in Opera first. It is not my default - it could easily be though.

Enjoy.

Opera is the father of tabbed browsing.

Oh yes. I'm fully convinced this PC that I'm using at this moment is a female and that Outlook is male and Outlook Express is his kid brother. <g>

My pc is definitely male. Not implying I'm gay or anything.

EDIT: Er. Also not implying that I have even remote sexual fantasies with my computer O.o

Opera is one great browser. The thing that makes me use firefox 2 more though is the lack of extendability and customization with opera. Firefox has such a big extension/mod community and there is a mod for all my needs.

I use 3 browsers everyday. Opera when I feel like it, Internet Explorer 7 when I feel like it and Firefox most of the time Tongue

I use FF extensively - not for any great security improvements but for the functionality that is built in and can be easily added. I absolutely adore GreaseMonkey scripts. Smiley

I'm pretty much an avid FF user simply because of the functionality. Plus, they have an extension/plug-in for a skin called "pimped out" (or something out that) which is totally phat.

I'm such a girl.
