I do a lot of writing and I often have a word that I need to find a new way to say it. I often want to ensure that (I talk to a really pedantic person quite often) I speak clearly so that they have nothing to whine about. (They still do but it gives me great pleasure to prove I'm right, as much pleasure as they get from complaining. Symbiotic?) Anyhow...

It is perfectly free and fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone who's going to attempt to speak in the English language here, elsewhere, and ever.

Oh wow, thanks!

Don't know how I missed this before. I usually use Dictionary.com, and while it's helpful, it's not very thorough. I write a lot too, and find myself struggling for synonyms. I have a mind like a stainless steel sieve; strong, but full of lots of little holes.

I'll download this when I get home. And now I have no excuse to keep me from writing my memoirs. *L*

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
